Thornley House & Shincliffe House
The renovation of Grade II listed Thornley House and Shincliffe House was delivered on behalf of Sherburn House Charity. Units which were previously rendered unlettable have been transformed to provide 14 self-contained flats for over 55s and a five-bedroom home which is suitable for adults who will benefit from communal living. Each apartment boasts a luxurious living space, shower room, open plan living area and kitchen. Communal areas include a dining and lounge area as well as an external courtyard.

Eskdale Drive
Located on an area of brownfield land which was previously occupied by pre-fabricated housing, 36 affordable properties were constructed including all associated external works. An existing access road was upgraded to serve the development.

Howden Dene
Located in Corbridge, Esh Construction is working on behalf of Anchor to upgrade and reconfigure an existing retirement living scheme to provide 14 apartments, all for affordable rent to local people.

Fir View Gardens
Working on behalf of Great Places Housing Group, Esh is delivering 20 new properties in a development named Fir View Gardens. The two and three-bedroom homes will be available for affordable rent and will include associated parking and landscaping.

South Bank
Esh delivered 28 new bungalows for affordable rent in partnership with Thirteen Group. The development is part of a larger housing led regeneration programme ongoing in the area.

St Michaels Avenue
The St Michaels Avenue development will provide a mixture of homes for social rent, private sale and private rent. Working in partnership with Barnsley Council, 24 two, three and four-bedroom houses, 7 two-bedroom bungalows, and 4 two-bedroom apartments will be constructed. Sixteen of the new properties will be low carbon, constructed with sustainable features and energy-saving technology such as air source heat pumps instead of mains gas.

Longstone Manor
The 185-home development will be delivered on behalf of Home Group. Esh is on site constructing 73 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership, as well as a further 112 properties which will be offered for outright sale by Home Group’s private sales arm, Persona Homes. A mixed blend of family homes will feature across the site, including two, three and four-bedroom houses, along with one-bedroom flats and bungalows, and a collection of Tyneside flats.

Delivered on behalf of Sheffield Housing Company, Lytton Road is a development of 44 two, three and four-bedroom homes. The properties are for private sale and revitalised underused land which had been vacant for nearly 20 years. Â

Tall Trees Yarm
Located on the site of the well-known former Tall Trees hotel and nightclub complex, Esh is working on behalf of Broadacres to build 79 new homes for affordable rent and shared ownership, and a further 35 properties for outright sale.

Leeway Green
Leeway Green is a 24-home development in Sunderland. Working in partnership with Gentoo Group, a mix of two and three-bedroom houses and bungalows are under construction in the Carley Hill area. The scheme was procured via Propser.

Evenwood Refurbishment Works
Delivered for Thirteen Group, Esh completed external and internal refurbishment works across 29 properties in Bishop Auckland. External works included re-roofing, rendering, window and door installation, fencing and boundary wall replacement, while internal works comprised of kitchen and bathroom replacement.

Hutton Rudby
The Hutton Rudby development will provide a selection of three and four-bedroom houses and two-bedroom bungalows for affordable rent and shared ownership, and a further 15 properties will be offered for outright sale. The high quality, energy efficient properties have been designed to reflect the rural character of the picturesque village and form a natural extension to the existing local housing. Esh will deliver the scheme on behalf of Broadacres.
