Framework providers Prosper and Pagabo have awarded Esh Construction a place on two key frameworks for projects across the North East and Yorkshire.
Following a competitive tendering process, national framework provider, Pagabo, named Esh as a supplier on Lot 3 for projects of £1 million up to £5 million on its second-generation Medium Works Framework.
This covers schemes in Tees Valley, Durham, Northumberland, and Tyne and Wear, with Esh now named as a ‘Core Supplier’ for these areas. The framework is aligned with the Construction Playbook and will run for four years until 2027.
The second award is for Prosper’s new build construction works framework on Lots 1 and 2 which covers the North East, Yorkshire and Humber regions. The agreement will run for two years, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
Prosper’s framework serves a range of contracting bodies including registered social landlords, local authorities, educational establishments, NHS, blue light services and registered charities.
Chris Hale, Esh’s Pre-Construction Director, said: “Securing our place on two key frameworks across the North East and Yorkshire regions will help aid our growth plans in our new build housing and refurbishment division.
“We look forward to working in partnership with both framework providers to deliver construction projects that make a lasting difference to surrounding local communities by employing local, supporting local, engaging local and procuring local.”
The Prosper award follows the successful completion of Leeway Green, a development of 24 new affordable homes for Gentoo Group. Esh was appointed as design and build contractor in April 2021 following the scheme being procured via Prosper. Located in the Carley Hill area of Sunderland, the contract marked the start of Esh’s relationship to deliver new build affordable homes for Gentoo.
We look forward to working in partnership with both framework providers to deliver construction projects that make a lasting difference to surrounding local communities by employing local, supporting local, engaging local and procuring local.”
