This is a fixed term appointment for 6 months.

Overall Objective:

To work primarily in the North East delivering and collecting materials as required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver and collect  materials around the North East
  • Ability to work to tight timescales
  • To carry out duties in a safe, courteous professional manner
  • To have a flexible approach to this reactive framework
  • Ensure safe and efficient use of vehicles and resources

General responsibilities:

  • The Group is committed to achieving a high standard of Health and Safety in all its activities and the post holder will be expected to contribute to maintaining standards to ensure compliance with all appropriate legislation
  • To participate in any identified training or development opportunities

  • Timekeeping 
  • Driving safely and efficiently

Experience & Qualifications:

  • License to drive BE vehicles – preferable
  • Licence to drive C1E vehicles, with restriction 107 removed  -Essential

  • Encourage and supports other colleagues
  • Friendly and approachable and caring 
  • Has a ‘can do/ will do’ attitude
  • Analysis own performance and takes steps to improve this 
  • Remains focused when faced with competing demands
