A development of 12 affordable homes which aims to ensure rural communities remain affordable and sustainable for future generations is now complete.
Located in Huby – a North Yorkshire village situated between York and Easingwold – the Hayfields scheme has delivered eight rented and four shared-ownership properties. The new two and three-bedroom homes have been allocated to people with a connection to Huby or the wider Hambleton area, with residents set to move in imminently.
The £1.8 million development has been delivered on behalf of Broadacres Housing Association. Designed with key architectural features to blend into countryside living, each new home features a landscaped garden area and parking facilities.
